What a cited answer looks like
Every answer shows the passage it comes from.
Certbound writes its questions from public-domain US government texts: 14 CFR Part 107, the FAA study guide, Advisory Circular 107-2A, the AIM and the Pilot’s Handbook. Each question keeps the sentence its answer rests on, so you can check it instead of trusting it.

Is Certbound official?
No. Certbound is not affiliated with the FAA. The 46 sample questions are the FAA’s own and are labeled as such; their answers and explanations are Certbound’s, cited. The other 635 questions are written by Certbound from public-domain US government texts.
Where do the questions come from?
From 14 CFR Part 107, the FAA Remote Pilot Study Guide, Advisory Circular 107-2A, the Aeronautical Information Manual, the Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge and the FAA figure book. Every answer shows the passage it rests on.
Is the pass a subscription?
No. The 90-day pass is one payment that ends on its own. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Lifetime is also one payment.
Does it work without an account or a connection?
Yes. There is no account. Questions, figures and your progress live on your phone, and you can export everything as one file for free.
Is the mock exam like the real test?
60 questions, two hours, sampled by the ACS domain weights, figure questions included, no feedback until the end. The pass line is 70%, like the real test.
Will passing a mock mean I pass the test?
No one can promise that. Certbound’s ready line is two mocks at 85 or better with every area past the pass line. It is a reading of your practice, not a guarantee.
